Fitness Junkies

Since I started incorporating fitness into my regular life routine,  I have met people along the way who have felt the same passion I have about leading a healthy lifestyle.  I would like to call these people, and also my friends, Fitness Junkies.

Now, I am not using “junkies” in a negative way.  I am using Junkie in the way it is described in the Merriam-Webster Dictionary:

“A person who derives inordinate pleasure from or who is dependant on something”

I would have to say that I NEED fitness in my life.  I am dependant on it to help me live and maintain a higher level of physical health and energy, and to feel better about my life.  And I honestly will admit that I do get “inordinate pleasure” working out.  There is no better feeling knowing that I have accomplished a physical fitness goal that I set for myself.  I have decided to dedicate my free time and help to my fellow Fitness Junkies of the real world and virtual world.   I want to inspire and motivate people who need that little extra support to live and maintain a better lifestyle.

  1. What is the best way to trim my arms, and lift my butt?

well to be honest it is hard to just target certain area(s) of the body. you have to work on your body as a whole in order to get optimal results. along with a steady vigorous cardio routine, you should also incorporate a strength training program. This can include lifting weights to help tone the muscles as you lose the fat that you burn from your cardio routine. It may also help to take classes that some gyms, YMCA’s or other fitness facilities offer. These type of classes are great with getting you to do your cardio as well as work other areas of your body. These type of classes can be kick boxing, aerobics, Pilates, zumba, etc.

very hard to maintain our body figure but the body shape or figure is the cumulative product of a woman’s skeletal structure (her build) and the quantity and distribution of muscle and fat on the body outdoor group training is an outdoor cross training program.

Since you’ve added fitness to your life- have you ever buped into someone who said, “Oh, you don’t need to lose weight.” or “Oh come on! Have a brownie!”

I’ve received this reaction quite often, as I’m already thin. Of course, my choices are about my health, not my weight. But I’m just wondering if I’m the only one who has encountered this.

    • Ms.Composure says:

NO! i get that all the time! my family is always telling me i need to eat a good fat steak or a pan of brownies…LoL it is not just about being thin it is about being healthy and that is my choice…and it is a choice i am glad i made! 🙂

Thanks for stopping by! Please feel free to leave a comment or question. Have a wonderful day!
